I planted those seeds in November and I wanted them to face the kitchen window.. well, it didn't! It was facing the house back wall. It grew really tall about 11 ft. The biggest sunflower I grew to date.. but there is a bigger one coming along.. The King Kong sunflower.

ReplyDeleteYeah.. in my backyard. I planted those seeds in November. They kept growing bigger and bigger.. They bloomed in January.
ReplyDeleteSunflowers have a habit of facing the rising sun so all of them planted in that area will probably face the same direction!

ReplyDeleteI was told that sunflowers moves as the sun moves. I guess this was totally wrong!
ReplyDeleteI plan on trying sunflowers in the garden this year. Fortunately, the sun comes in behind my kitchen window so I will have a nice display.
