Jatropha
This tree or shrub is very easy to grow here in Qatar. You see it in many houses around the city. Some people shape it as a tree and some leave it to be bushy.
This one grew relatively quickly. The flowers from a distance are very pleasing to see because the contrast between the leaves and flowers is amazing!

Jatropha is very tough plant here in lahore. Actually it is mostly used as a medicinal plant. Blooms are lovely as well.
ReplyDeleteAgree with you this is used a medicine. But It's not used for that here in Qatar as much as an ornamental plant.
